Lefkada
Lefkada is a pretty large (303 km2 - about 22.000
inhabitants), partly moutainous, partly wooded
island and one of the Ionian Islands. There
are some nice landscapes and good sandy beaches
on Lefkada. The island is ideal for hiking and
windsurfing.
You get to Lefkada by car, autobus
(the island is connected to the mainland by
a bridge) or by plane from Athens or by boat
from the neighbouring islands of Kefalonia
and Ithaki.
